REVIEWS
Class was good. Shea was a good instructor. Location was too busy & loud and our work space was too crowded.

I thought it was a good class for beginners. The venue was not ideal, but Shea made the best of it. If a more advanced class is offered on a Saturday, I would try to attend depending on my schedule of course. Saturdays and weeknights are good for me.

Instructor was great, but I think that you need to look at the set up for the class and think more about the experience of all students. The class was very separated on different tables far away from each other, which made it difficult for the instructor. Additionally guests for the coffee shop sat around us making lots of noise so it would be best to be in a place where it is more secluded and definitely quieter.

The watercolor class had clear, helpful instruction and was set in a truly lovely location, which made the experience enjoyable overall. However, the class felt overcrowded. Our table was in the corner and a bit overlooked. We were barely able to complete all of the exercises. With a smaller group or an assistant instructor, this could be an excellent class.

Title or Location: Island Sunset
This 9x12 watercolor was inspired by a photograph of the Turks and Caicos Islands at sunset where she was recently visiting. Plam trees dominate tge scene overlaying the bushes with a peek of the cabanas and calm ocean in the background. You see the sky at sunset with dark rainclouds on the horizon. I painted this piece to exemplify atmospheric landscapes with both energy and tranquility,

Title or Location: The Marshes
This 9x12 watercolor is a depiction of wetlands typical of Georgia at sunset. It's painted in a loose and expressive style. A central blue waterway snakes through the dense green reeds of the foreground marsh, reflecting the golden light of the sky with gray clouds and a distant line of green trees in the background giving it depth and perspective.
